Benson Metcalf

Managing Partner

Benson has a uniquely well-rounded career. He is known as a talented company builder, investor, and operator. A former Bain & Company strategy consultant, PE investor and, most recently, a tech company COO, Benson is a turnaround specialist, growth-oriented executive, and a problem solver with a nose for value. He has been a trusted advisor to some of the world's largest companies as well as a startup executive and board member in the software/technology, manufacturing/industrial, and consumer products sectors. In the last few years, Benson helped execute Pluralsight's IPO and the strategic sale of SaltStack to VMware.

Burgess Cline

Partner

Burgess is a seasoned entrepreneur who has built, acquired, and sold numerous businesses in the e-commerce, consumer finance, mortgage and real estate industries. He’s also a former Wall Street stock trader and an avid investor. He is currently President & CEO of Intermountain Capital which he founded in 2014. Burgess is the type of business leader that can jump into any business, understand core economic drivers, and glean insights from the financials while deciphering motivations and talents of team members.

Bobby Meinhold

Principal

Prior to joining 2.0 Ventures, Bobby worked at SaltStack, a B2B infrastructure software company, where he played an important role in the Company's financing strategy and eventual strategic sale to VMware. Before SaltStack, Bobby spent time as an investment banker at Raymond James in their Technology & Services group and is responsible for assisting in over 10 successful M&A and capital raising transactions cumulatively worth over $1 billion in transaction value. Bobby started his career as an analyst at Peterson Partners, a middle-market private equity firm in Salt Lake City.

Janis Kline

CFO

Prior to joining 2.0 Ventures, Janis has been a founder, partner and CFO of multiple high growth businesses in the industrial, retail, technology, and professional services sectors. As a CPA, Janis has also worked for and led accounting firms and is on the advisory board of the University of Utah’s accounting school. Janis brings tremendous practical experience to the fund and our portfolio.
